A SHADOW lived in a castle on a cloud. It was a special, almost magical place where only he and his friends – the heavenly dogs-chimeras – lived. Watchdog chimeras had several rows of teeth, each of which could easily tear human flesh to shreds.

They reliably guarded the castle from intruders. LIGHT immediately fell in love with this place. In the castle on the Cloud, there was no need to cook, wash, make the bed – here you just had to be yourself. At least that's what the SHADOW told her. The first three weeks, she did not get out of bed, because down on the ground, she was seriously injured. She had a bruise on her head, all her hands were bruised and her lip was split. Shadow stroked her hair, made compresses on the damaged areas and sang wonderful melodies all the time. After three weeks, Light for some reason thought that it was probably time to return to earth.

She asked Shadow what he thought about this. He told her that he did not advise her to return to Earth, because people are heartless and cruel. And sooner or later, this situation will happen again. Light nodded. And she stayed with him. Thus began their life in a castle on a cloud, a place where nothing bad ever happened.
