This exciting sports adventure story presents the experiences of Dan Vinton, his roommate Gerald Pennimore, a newcomer Kendall Burtis and their school friends at Yardley Hall. Kendall overhears a plot against Yardley Hall by members of their rivals Broadwood Academy, and then, a few days before the big game with Broadwood, their football captain Dan Vinton is abducted.
