In The Shadow of the Guillotine

This story is set in Paris during the period of the French Revolution. It revolves around Angela and her husband Vidal Jerome, a colonel. Angela saves an aristocrat, Monsieur le Chevalier, (a man who persecuted her ten years before) from the mob. Will the aristocrat realize that Angela is the same girl he wanted to persecute?
