What Jesus Did - and Didn't - Teach

Wishing to know Jesus' teaching, we turn to his words in the Gospels. This book is a detailed, comparative study of his statements as recorded by Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

Broad titles are divided into specific subjects. The author considers the relevant quotations – sometimes pointing in different directions – and tries to reach the fundamental teaching on that particular subject.

Pertinent matters Jesus did not definitely address are raised, with contemporary applications. The introduction reflects on the likely needs and apparent, personal priorities of the Gospel writers, and the work concludes with a comparison of Jesus' and Old Testament teaching.
