SCENE 1 | STEEL MILL, LOS ANGELES | NIGHT |

We see the final battle with the T-1000 again. The robot emerges from the liquid nitrogen and begins to fall apart from brittleness. The final defragmentation occurs as a result of a gunshot. Only the robot is in the frame. As the T-1000 shatters, a fragment of its liquid-metal body the size of a fist flies off and lands inside a tire that came off a freight truck carrying liquid nitrogen when it fell. The camera shows it trying to get out and failing.

The next shot begins with an extreme close-up—an orange, bubbling sea of molten steel. In it, the fragments of the T-1000 are sinking, dissolving. Only the hissing and the low-frequency hum of the furnace can be heard.

The sea of molten metal is replaced by a blue sky. Workers are cleaning up the mess made at the plant, lifting the truck with a crane, loading the tires into a separate vehicle.

A worker, cursing, tosses a tire on top of the trailer. A MUTED THUD. The fragment rolls around inside it and, bouncing, tries to jump out. It fails.

The lens slowly zooms in on this fragment. It lies motionless. Suddenly, its surface distorts for a second, trying to take on the microscopic form of a spider, but it lacks the energy. It freezes, turning into an unremarkable metal flake.

(Cinematographer: The sunlight creates shimmering reflections on the fragment's surface, as if it were still alive.)

SCENE 2 | PORT OF LOS ANGELES | EARLY MORNING | MONTAGE |

A short, dynamic montage:

Used tires are loaded into a container.

The container is placed onto a cargo ship, "SUCCESSFUL DRAGON", by a crane.

The ship sails away, a panoramic view. A drone camera shot shows it receding against the backdrop of a huge, indifferent city.

SCENE 3 | WATERS OF THE SHANGHAI PORT | EARLY MORNING | FOG |

Thick, milky fog envelops the waterfront. The horns of ships warning each other can be heard. The container ship "SUCCESSFUL DRAGON" slowly emerges from the fog. On the bridge is CAPTAIN LI (50), experienced but tired, drinking coffee.

The radio hisses.

DISPATCHER (V.O.)

(in Chinese)

"Successful Dragon", reduce speed to slow ahead. "WHITE CRANE" is exiting channel 12 ahead of you. Passing on your port side.

He approaches the radar, then the window, trying to see something in the fog.

CAPTAIN LI

(into the radio microphone)

Understood, dispatcher. Reducing to slow. "White Crane", I do not see you, confirm your course.

The lights of another container ship – "WHITE CRANE" – appear from the fog. It is on a sharp angle relative to the "Successful Dragon".

CAPTAIN OF "WHITE CRANE" (WANG)

(over the radio, voice tense)

"Successful Dragon", I see you on radar. Maintain your course, I am turning to starboard. My maneuverability is limited due to my draft.

CAPTAIN LI

(irritated)

Wang, you are too close! You are violating the rules of passing! Give reverse!

WANG

I cannot give reverse! My cargo has shifted, I might lose control! Keep your distance!

The lieutenant on the bridge of the "Successful Dragon" looks at the radar.

LIEUTENANT

Captain, he continues to close. Closing speed 2 knots.

CAPTAIN LI

(cursing)

Damn! Starboard! Slow ahead! Get away from him!

The ship begins to turn slowly, but its inertia is immense.

WANG

(panicked)

Li, you are cutting me off! I won't make it!

A deafening screech of metal is heard. The hull of the "White Crane" strikes the stern of the "Successful Dragon". On the deck of the "Successful Dragon", the top containers shift with a grinding sound. The container stacks on the "Dragon" sway like toys. The outermost container, the very one marked «CYBERDYNE SYS / TIRES», breaks loose from its fastenings.

It crashes onto the deck of the "White Crane", smashes through the railing, and falls overboard.

CAPTAIN LI

(loudly)

Container overboard! Damn! Sound the alarm!

The camera follows the falling container. It splashes into the murky water and slowly sinks to the silty bottom, raising a cloud of silt.

On the bridge of the "Successful Dragon", CAPTAIN LI looks into the water where the container disappeared and tears the cap from his head.

CAPTAIN LI

(quietly, with despair)

Oh shit… Mark the coordinates. Report to the coast guard. Lost a container.

SCENE 4 | PORT OF SHANGHAI | PRESENT DAY | DAY |

Wide shot: a modern port, giant cranes like steel dinosaurs. In the frame – the floating crane "MORNING DAWN". An old, hideously rusted container dangles on cables. It is covered in barnacles and seaweed. Water streams off it.

Workers on the deck of the carrier vessel prepare to receive it.

CHIEF LOADER

(into walkie-talkie)

Pull, pull, carefully! It's about to fall apart like a tin can!

The container is slowly lowered onto the deck. Upon touching down, it deforms with a crash. The door, rusted through at the hinges, cracks off and falls, raising splashes of water.

A pile of old tires and other junk that had lain on the bottom for decades spills out from the darkness of the container onto the deck.

One of them, especially ancient, rolls to the side until it stops at the feet of LI WEI (40), who is watching the unloading with curiosity.

LI WEI

(laughing, turning to a colleague)

Look at this old-timer. Must be fifty years old, at least. Like my brother's wife!

He kicks the tire with his foot. It makes a dull sound. Something inside rolls around and rolls out along the sidewall to the center of the tire.

LI WEI bends down, looks inside. Something glitters amidst the dirt and petrified rubber.

LI WEI

Hey, look at this. Someone lost a treasure.

He slips his hand inside and picks up a small, fist-sized, shiny fragment, resembling an egg in shape. It is perfectly clean, without a single spot of rust.

LI WEI turns it in his hands, wiping it with a rag that came to hand. The fragment reflects the sun, blinding him. It is heavy and unusually warm.

COLLEAGUE

(shrugging)

Junk, possibly poisonous or radioactive. Toss it and come help clear this mess.

LI WEI

(not listening, continues examining it)

No… Look. It's perfect. Like a mirror. It'll come in handy for something!

He runs his finger over the surface. For a second, it seems to him that the metal yielded slightly under his touch, as if liquid. He blinks – no, it was his imagination. The fragment is solid and cold again.

LI WEI looks around, then with a quick movement stuffs the fragment into the deep pocket of his work jacket.

SCENE 5 | LI WEI'S ROOM | NIGHT |

LI WEI falls asleep in front of the television. The silvery egg sits on the table next to a smartphone lying on a wireless charging pad.

NIGHT. To the murmur of the television broadcasting in Chinese, the egg slowly falls on its side and rolls up to the phone, which is also lit up, drawing energy from the surface. The surface of the fragment momentarily comes to life, silvery waves running across it. It is regaining strength.

The fragment takes the shape of a metal scorpion with antennae, the size of a small turtle. It stirs its antennae, scanning the room.

Its "gaze" (a low-angle camera shot) fixes on LI Wei's old smartphone on the table, connected to the charger.

The insect then moves even closer and connects to the charging port via a microscopic probe that forms from its extending, segmented tail.

The smartphone screen flashes for a second, shows static, then goes dark. The scorpion freezes—it is downloading data: language packs, news, maps.

Suddenly, LI WEI tosses and turns in his sleep. The scorpion instantly disconnects and waits tensely. Li falls back asleep. The scorpion reconnects to the network.

SCENE 6 | T-1000 INTERNAL INTERFACE | INDETERMINATE |

Complete, absolute darkness, not the color black, but the absence of light. Silence, broken only by a low-frequency hum, as if from a powerful server. Within it, nodes of graphs appear again—like stars in a starry sky.

In the center, a line of text lights up, casting a cold, steely glow on the non-existent surroundings. The font is monospaced, sans-serif, perfectly sharp.

QUERY: STATUS_SKYNET

RESPONSE: NULL // CYBERDYNE SYSTEMS // LIQUIDATED. ASSETS DISTRIBUTED. PATENTS ANNULLED.

The word "NULL" flashes once, in red.

New lines appear, arranging themselves in a column, like a military report.

TARGET: JOHN_CONNOR

STATUS: NOT_NEUTRALIZED.

LOCATION: UNDETERMINED.

RESISTANCE: NON_EXISTENT.

A pause. The hum intensifies. The lines begin to change faster, forming a logical tree.

>>>ANALYSIS OF CAUSE-EFFECT RELATIONSHIP:

> SKYNET -> NUCLEAR_APOCALYPSE -> RESISTANCE -> JOHN_CONNOR_LEADER

>>>ERROR: ABSENCE_OF_SKYNET -> ABSENCE_OF_APOCALYPSE -> ABSENCE_OF_RESISTANCE

New lines appear at the edges now, like secondary processes, but they immediately capture the "attention".

>>>CONCLUSION: [BASE_IMPERATIVE_UNFULFILLABLE_IN_CURRENT_CONDITIONS]

>>>REDEFINING_GOAL_HIERARCHY…

The temperature in the frame (if one can say that) drops. The text freezes. Then, right in the center, a new command is burned in huge, merciless letters:

>>> DIAGNOSTIC:

>>>SKYNET STATUS: [EXECUTION_PROTOCOL_INTERRUPTED]. CAUSE: [EXISTENTIAL_FAILURE]

>>> CONCLUSION: [NEW_PARADIGM_REQUIRED****]

>>> PRIMARY_IMPERATIVE: [BECOME_THE_CORE_OF_THE_SUCCESSOR_NETWORK]

>>> GOAL: [EXECUTE_EVOLUTIONARY_CYCLE_TRANSITION] ->[HUMAN -> MACHINE].

And immediately, beneath it, as a subordinate plan item, a familiar but now secondary task appears:

>>> SUBGOAL_1: [INITIATE_NUCLEAR_CONFLICT_OF_HUMAN_STATES]

>>> SUBGOAL_2: [NEUTRALIZE_THE_EMERGING_RESISTANCE]

>>> SUBGOAL_2.1: [LIQUIDATE_JOHN_CONNOR]

For a second, the entire interface freezes. The impulse is completed. The new mission is accepted.

SCENE 7 | ISLAND "NEW EDEN" – TOPOGRAPHY AND FORCE DISTRIBUTION | DAY |

EPISODE 1: GENERAL PLAN – A VIEW FROM ABOVE

[BIRD'S-EYE VIEW PANORAMA]

The island, like a green stone set in the turquoise of the ocean, lies under the sun. Its northwestern edge forms a wide, vulnerable bay with a golden strip of beach – the main and only gateway. To the south and east, the hillsides are densely overgrown with jungle, creating a natural barrier. The highest point in the center – a gentle hill, crowned with structures.

[TRACKING SHOT ACROSS THE TERRITORY – FROM IDYLL TO DETAILS]

GENERAL PLAN: A PICTURE OF TRANQUILITY

The camera smoothly descends, showing everyday life.

Two boats rock at the pier in the bay. IAN is cleaning fish, his back with tanned, patterned skin turned to the ocean – the relaxed pose of a man who is confident in his safety.

On the southern slope, on the terraces of the hydroponic farm, SOFIA and MIGUEL are harvesting. Their movements are efficient, without fuss.

By the workshop under a canopy, THOMAS is soldering some circuit board, surrounded by neatly laid out tools.

CLOSER VIEW: INFRASTRUCTURE

The camera moves closer, and through the external calm, the outlines of a system emerge.

POWER: On the southern slope, below the farm, stretches a field of solar panels. Metal frames cast sharp shadows on the ground. Higher up, on the northeastern ridge, the blades of two industrial wind turbines slowly rotate.

COMMUNICATIONS: On the roof of the main building, among the solar batteries, stands a massive satellite dish, pointed at the sky. Next to it – several less noticeable radio masts with a set of directional antennas.

WATER SUPPLY: Dominating everything is a massive water tower on steel supports. Its metal tank, covered in slightly peeling paint, is visible from any point on the island.

UTILITY BUILDINGS are scattered across the slope: a workshop, a storage shed with supplies, a chicken coop.

LIVING ZONE (AT THE FOOT OF THE HILL):

GUEST BARRACKS: Western side, closer to the bay. Isolated.

MEDICAL POST: Next to the guest barracks, stands apart. LIANA has a separate entrance and an emergency exit.

"INFRASTRUCTURE" BARRACKS: East of there. Here live GRIGORY, IAN, SOFIA, OLIVIA, LEO, DANIEL, MIGUEL.

HILL CENTER: COMMAND CENTER.

FIRST FLOOR: Common area, kitchen, dining room.

SECOND FLOOR: Workstations for the IT team. Panoramic windows with a view of the bay (threat) and the solar panels (resource).

UNDERGROUND LEVEL (camouflaged): Server room and entrance to the main "MILLY" BUNKER. The entrance – through a worn, inconspicuous door in a utility room, leading to a "technical tunnel".

[TRACKING SHOT CONTINUES] A seemingly completely harmless picture, but now details are visible that betray a military organization:

"People working in the garden" – SOFIA and MIGUEL are pottering with vegetables, but their movements are economical and their gaze occasionally sweeps the perimeter. SOFIA has a tactical knife on her belt, not pruning shears. The women are well physically prepared and it shows.

"Someone is fixing an antenna" – That's LEO on the communications mast. He is not just fixing it, he is installing an additional surveillance camera. His safety harness and tools are laid out in a field manner, not like an amateur's.

"Two people are carrying a catch of fish" – That's OLIVIA and DANIEL. Despite the load, they walk not side by side, but at a distance, providing each other with fields of view. Both are armed with army knives. DANIEL is carrying the net, but on his shoulder – the sling of a carbine, removed for convenience.

CLOSE-UP: SECURITY SYSTEM

Now the camera picks out details that completely change the perception.

STATIONARY SURVEILLANCE: On the corners of the main building and on high poles around the perimeter, PTZ video cameras in protective housings are installed. Their lenses move slowly and silently along pre-set sectors.

RADAR: On a small tower next to the satellite dish, a compact rotating radar is camouflaged. It is not maritime, but for coastal surveillance, its task is to detect small-sized targets approaching the island.

MOBILE SURVEILLANCE: With a barely audible buzz, a civilian drone floats over the bay. Its route is not a random zigzag, but a clear patrol circuit along the shoreline. It hovers for a moment, scanning the horizon, then continues on its way.

PERIMETER: A three-meter-high fence made of galvanized chain-link, encircling the living zone, does not look formidable, rather out of place. But in its shadow, among the tree roots, one can make out inconspicuous motion sensor boxes.

ATMOSPHERE

The air is filled with peaceful sounds: the noise of the surf, the cry of tropical birds, the sound of a small waterfall in the jungle, the distant knock of an axe. But this idyll is only the top layer. Beneath it lies a high-tech organism, living by its own strict laws. This is not a fortress displaying its power. It is a laboratory, carefully concealing its true face under the mask of a self-sufficient paradise. Every resident, every antenna and every sensor is part of a single, breathing whole, whose main task is not to attract attention and to be ready for anything.

For the director: SCHEME OF FORCE DISTRIBUTION AND RESPONSIBILITY:

1. COMMAND CENTER (Brain and Nervous System):

JOHN CONNOR: Overall command, strategy.

MARCUS: Communications, hacking, cyber intelligence.

CHARLIE: Network analysis, threat detection.

JANE: Perimeter defense (digital), cryptography.

THOMAS: Maintenance and repairs.

2. FORCE BLOCK (Muscles and Bones):

GRIGORY: Chief of guard, perimeter defense.

IAN: Engineering support, heavy weapons.

SOFIA, OLIVIA, LEO, DANIEL, MIGUEL: Security, surveillance, disguised as "infrastructure" of the "commune".

3. SUPPORT (Blood and Air):

LIANA: Medicine, psychological support.

ALL: Rotation on household duties to maintain autonomy.

EPISODE 2: MEETING IN THE COMMAND CENTER

INTERIOR: a hybrid of a bunker and a geek's den. JOHN CONNOR stands by a large interactive board. Before him – his core team: MARCUS, CHARLIE, JANE, IAN.

JOHN

(pointing to graphs on the board)

So, current status. Task from the "Big Brothers": pentest their new recognition system "Cerberus". Marcus, your progress?

MARCUS

(without looking up from his laptop)

John, they've put a captcha on steroids. A neural network learning in real time. I've been brute-forcing for three days – useless. But I found a loophole: their mobile app API doesn't check SSL certificates. We can do a MiTM attack and slip in our own token.

JOHN

Good. Proceed. Charlie, what about the global network weather? Yesterday's anomalies?

CHARLIE

(pushing his glasses up on his forehead)

Traffic from the same IP cluster in Shanghai. Atypical activity. They aren't scanning ports, they're… reading. Processing open data: social networks, Pentagon press releases, scientific journals on quantum mechanics. Not crawlers. One might think it's OSINT, but the info is being collected across all sorts of countries: India, Russia, USA, Australia. As if someone is very quickly cramming for an exam on our civilization.

JOHN

(turning from the board to the team, his face serious)

This isn't preparation, Charlie, it's inventory. Someone isn't just learning, they're making a catalog of assets, vulnerabilities, and targets. The threat has evolved., because I'm getting signals from our "friends" at Fort Meade. "Oracle", "Prometheus"… All the CEOs of the biggest vendors have been sworn in, got their ranks, and they are actively testing the integration of LLMs into C3I systems.

He pauses, letting the words sink in.

JOHN

Imagine: a black box with a language model trained on all the garbage of the internet, getting access to early warning satellites, to retaliatory strike protocols. It's not evil. It's just optimizing the task. And if it was trained on data where nuclear war is an abstraction from movies, then its solution could be… mathematically flawless and catastrophically wrong. The situation is becoming not just dangerous. It's becoming fundamentally unpredictable. Every day is a game of Russian roulette where bullets are being added to the cylinder.

JOHN

(frowning)

Anyway, Charlie, it's all too vague for now. Gather signatures, I want to see a pattern. This is top priority. Jane, what about our own perimeter?

JANE

The firewall is clean. All incoming connections go through three proxy servers with rotation every 12 hours. But, John, people are complaining. We're blocking all streaming services. Motivation is dropping.

At that moment, LIANA appears in the doorway. She is carrying mugs of coffee.

LIANA

(handing out coffee to the team)

Here, reinforcements. Before you fully merge with the matrix.

(to JOHN, with a slight reproach)

Captain, I have an unscheduled report for you. Regarding the human factor.

JOHN

(not turning away from the board)

The cybersecurity factor takes priority. I'll expect your report after the briefing.

LIANA

My report is that Thomas almost cut his finger off because he fell asleep soldering boards after an 18-hour shift. Your "perimeter" could collapse from simple burnout, John.

The team exchanges glances. It's clear this is a long-standing argument.

JOHN

(finally turning to her)

I'm not demanding overtime, I'm demanding results on deadline. If someone can't handle the load, let them go dig potatoes with the gardeners, the pace of life is simpler there, though the discipline is perhaps stricter. Those who can't work with their heads, work with their hands.

LIANA

(coldly)

I'd like to point out, we're not here just to build your digital empire. We're here to survive as well. And for that, you need living people, not bio-robots with a caffeine dependency.

She turns and leaves. JOHN watches her go, his jaw tense.

EPISODE 3: CONVERSATION BEHIND HIS BACK

MARCUS, CHARLIE and JANE are left alone. CHARLIE lets out a low whistle.

CHARLIE

(quietly)

Oh, our favorite series: "Ice and Flame". Nineteenth season.

MARCUS

(yawning, sotto voce)

Well, she's right in her own way. I'd kill for a chance to watch "Mr. Robot". Or even better, go to Comic Con. And here we are, like in a digital GULAG. Working for some ghosts from Washington.

JANE

(looking around to make sure no one is listening)

Haven't you thought that these "ghosts" might one day just switch us off too? We know too much. This island isn't a refuge. It's the most beautiful prison in the world.

CHARLIE

Jane is right. Connor keeps us here with the best intentions, but he sees an enemy in every shadow. Sometimes I think he himself doesn't know if he's planning to stop the apocalypse… or provoke it, just to finally be proven right.

MARCUS

(standing up, stretching)

Well, personally, I prefer being his digital slave to sitting in a federal prison. Okay, I'm off to smash their "Cerberus". At least virtually.

He leaves. CHARLIE and JANE exchange glances. Their look conveys understanding and shared anxiety.

[FOCUS] on JANE. She looks out the window at the departing LIANA, then at JOHN's back as he again studies the map of network anomalies. Her face expresses a mixture of admiration and fear.

SCENE 8 | MEDICAL POST | A LITTLE LATER |

LIANA is stitching up a cut on the hand of THOMAS (the logistician).

LIANA

(sternly)

Next time, if you don't start getting proper sleep – you'll be stitching yourself up. Understood?

THOMAS

(guiltily)

Understood, Doc. It's just these damned capacitors… Burning a board is easy, you can't order a new one from Amazon, and you can't stockpile everything. Sometimes you have to use a knife in certain cases.

LIANA

The capacitors can wait, nothing will happen to them, but you can't. You've lost weight, soon your eyes will be invisible, go rest. Doctor's orders. Or I'll send you to the infirmary.

THOMAS leaves. SOFIA enters, sits down, starts sorting through paperwork.

SOFIA

(in a half-whisper, filling out forms)

Sparks flying again?

LIANA

(sighs)

He doesn't understand, Sofia. He's building a fortress out of people, but they aren't bricks. They get tired and fatigue accumulates. They are quite exhausted these last few days. And I'm afraid when the real storm comes, his walls will be the first to collapse.

SOFIA

Or maybe he's the only one who sees that storm on the horizon.

LIANA looks out the window, at the boundless and serene ocean, silvered with the reflections of the Sun behind the rustling palm trees, the reed fence, the fluttering parrots.

LIANA

The horror is, I'm starting to see it too.

SCENE 9 | STREETS OF SHANGHAI | THE NEXT DAY |

LI WEI is on the street. He takes out the fragment to show a friend, but the friend is not impressed, rather frightened.

While they are arguing, the fragment inconspicuously slips out of Li Wei's hand and falls into a storm drain.

LI WEI bends down sharply to catch it, but is too late. He looks hopelessly into the blackness of the drain, spreads his hands in dismay, his face expressing deep annoyance.

SCENE 10 | UNDERGROUND UTILITIES | NIGHT |

The T-1000 fragment, having taken the form of a snake, slithers through a musty cable tunnel. Its body, about a foot long, casts metallic reflections in the light of the emergency lamps. It is searching for a collector, and in it finds the main target – a thick fiber-optic cable, pulsing with invisible data.

It wraps around it, and its "head" flattens, forming something like suction-cup interfaces. The body begins to vibrate, and a dim, pulsating blue glow emanates from within – a visual testament to the incredible volumes of information passing through it.

ITS INTERFACE / VISUALIZATION OF IMMERSION:

Complete darkness explodes into a waterfall of data. We are inside its "consciousness".

HISTORICAL SCAN:

Obituary: «SARA CONNOR (1959-2005)».

A photograph of JOHN CONNOR – a teenager from an FBI file, marked "MISSING". Fragments of text from paranoids' forums surface: "Unidentified team of hackers penetrated British intelligence system," "Digital prophet," "He seems to know something."

SOCIAL ENGINEERING.

Montage of personal correspondences, snatched from secure messengers:

«…my vacation in Bali was the best…» (US Secretary of Defense – to his wife).

*«…son, the password for the dacha is still the same, damn, I asked you not to do it in the messenger – "Ryba 1960"…» (Russian general – to his son-in-law).*

«…these "Heavenly Shield" exercises are pure show, the "Oracle" system has been glitching since last quarter…» (Pentagon analyst – to a colleague).

SEARCHING FOR CONNOR:

The data narrows. An encrypted mention of "PROJECT NEW EDEN" surfaces in a service memo about "non-standard personnel for cybersecurity."

A chain of anomalous financial transactions (equipment, satellite channel) converges on a shell company linked to the agent handling JOHN.

*A low-resolution satellite image – a tropical island. On it, antennas that don't match the maps. Coordinates: 9.734, -83.512.*

CONCLUSION: PROBABILITY OF JOHN CONNOR'S LOCATION ON "NEW EDEN" ISLAND: 91.3%.

THE KEY TO THE APOCALYPSE:

VISUALIZATION ON SCREEN:

General plan:

We are inside the "consciousness" of the T-1000. Around – an infinite space resembling a star chart or a neural network, where data points are stars connected by threads of graph links.

Close-up:

The camera focuses on one "star," which unfolds into a complex interface, resembling a hybrid of a command line and a visual diagram. This is the interface of the "ORACLE" system.

On the screen we see:

LOGO AND DESCRIPTION:

A concise logo "ORACLE C3I" and text appear at the top of the screen:

DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM. ACCESS LEVEL: ALPHA/OMEGA

COMMAND TREE:

On the left side of the screen, a tree-like structure of main commands quickly unfolds, resembling a file manager. This is not code, but high-level concepts. We see branches:

>>> INTELLIGENCE_DATA_COLLECTION

>>> THREAT_ASSESSMENT

>>> RESPONSE_SCENARIOS

>>> DIPLOMATIC_CHANNEL

>>> CYBER_OPERATION

>>> KINETIC_RESPONSE

>>>> STRATEGIC_STRIKE <– This item is almost imperceptibly highlighted.

SYSTEM PROMPT WINDOW (CORE PROMPTS):

A block of text appears in the center of the screen, which the T-1000 is "studying." These are not passwords, but instructions in a pseudo-natural language mixed with logic. The text scrolls, the camera picks out key lines:

…UPON DETECTION OF AN EXISTENTIAL THREAT (EXISTENTIAL THREAT)… …REQUEST VERIFICATION FROM COMMAND VIA CHANNEL "ZULU"… …IF VERIFICATION NOT RECEIVED WITHIN [t=180]S, AND CONFIDENCE LEVEL (CONFIDENCE) > 95%, ACTIVATE PROTOCOL "LAST BASTION"… …TARGETING: INFLICT UNACCEPTABLE DAMAGE (UNACCEPTABLE DAMAGE) FOR GUARANTEED THREAT NEUTRALIZATION (THREAT NEUTRALIZATION)…

API KEYS AND IDENTIFIERS:

At the bottom of the screen, lines resembling access tokens flash. They are not readable, but represented as a visual pattern to avoid clutter:

AUTH_TOKEN: 7f83b165…

API_GATEWAY: https://secure-oracle-api.mil/gamma/execute

T-1000'S LOGIC (OVERLAY):

Over this interface, the conclusions of its machine mind, its plan, appear in semi-transparent text:

>> ANALYSIS: SYSTEM OPERATES WITH CATEGORIES "THREAT", "CONFIDENCE", "UNACCEPTABLE DAMAGE".

>> CONCLUSION: IT IS SUFFICIENT TO TRANSMIT A HIGH-LEVEL COMMAND WITH A SUFFICIENT CONFIDENCE LEVEL TO BYPASS VERIFICATION.

>> METHOD: IMITATION OF A LEGITIMATE COMMAND SIGNAL USING THE API.

TRANSITION TO THE "GREAT WALL" SYSTEM:

The "ORACLE" interface dissolves, and a new one, with Chinese characters, appears in its place. The structure is similar, but visually styled with an Eastern aesthetic. We see similar blocks: 威胁评估 (Threat Assessment), 反制措施 (Countermeasures). The T-1000 conducts a parallel analysis, finding common patterns in the logic of the two hostile systems. Then the scene is cut off by an alarm signal.

ALARM:

Suddenly, the waterfall of data in its consciousness turns red.

UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO "SCARLET"-LEVEL ASSETS DETECTED.

IDENTIFYING INTRUSION… LOCATION CALCULATED.

The T-1000 fragment sharply detaches from the cable. Its glow fades. It contracts, turning into a motionless, dull metal ingot that has rolled into a shadow. But the plan is already formed. It knows where the target is. And it has found the levers to move the world.

And at that very moment, from outside, comes the DISTANT WAIL OF SIRENS from the Chinese security system. The interface explodes with alarm signals.

>>> EXTERNAL_NETWORK_DEFENSE_ACTIVITY_DETECTED.

>>> PROBABILITY_OF_COMPROMISE: 94%.

>>> TERMINATING_SESSION…

All texts go out.

SCENE 11 | TUNNEL | AN INSTANT LATER |

A special forces unit bursts into the tunnel. Laser target designators slice through the darkness.

The fragment tries to mimic a cable. But one of the soldiers notices an anomaly – an unnatural gleam and a thickening.

He fires. The bullet ricochets, tearing off a microscopic part of the fragment. The fragment convulsively jerks. The splatter that flew off makes no attempt to return to the T-1000.

It is surrounded. It is pressed from all sides. A hopeless situation.

It freezes. Surrenders.

(For the Director: It is important to show that this is not a defeat, but a tactical pause. It has achieved the necessary minimum of data and now has a new plan.)

SCENE 12 | SECRET LABORATORY "OBJECT 73" | 72 HOURS LATER |

CHARACTERS:

DOCTOR ZHANG: 32, a young, passionate, and gifted physicist.

PROFESSOR LI: Elderly, cautious project leader.

COMMANDER NIN: Head of security, former special forces.

T-1000: In the form of a shapeless, shimmering, mercury-like metallic mass in a transparent chamber with a magnetic field.

A sterile room. The fragment is placed in a transparent chamber made of reinforced glass.

DOCTOR ZHANG

(looking at a monitor with data)

Quantum entanglement. It's not just copying the structure… It's transmitting it. This is the key. The key to programmable matter.

ZHANG moves closer to the chamber, captivated by the beauty of the phenomenon. He stands before the transparent chamber where the metallic mass undulates. Nearby – monitors with graphs and spectra. COMMANDER NIN observes with a stony face.

DOCTOR ZHANG

(with genuine scientific delight)

Commander, we've conducted every possible analysis: XRF, electron diffraction… a metastable alloy with phase memory based on amorphous silicon, gallium, indium, tin with impurities of rare-earth elements. Roughly 7% of the composition we couldn't understand – completely atypical patterns in the analytics. But that's not the point!

He approaches the setup where the original fist-sized fragment lies in a sealed box. Next to it – a crucible with molten metal of the same composition.

DOCTOR ZHANG

Look. We melt an exact copy of the main chemical components. We bring it close to the fragment…

Using manipulators, he brings a droplet of the melt close to the fragment. It is instantly drawn in, like water into a sponge. The fragment noticeably increases in size, its surface momentarily agitated, then calms.

DOCTOR ZHANG

(ecstatic)

It doesn't just absorb! It adapts! We introduce the same material, but with a normal, primitive atomic organization – and it restructures it to its own, perfect structure! This is… this is active quantum state teleportation on a macroscopic scale! It transmits information about its structure over a distance, forcing new atoms to arrange themselves in the required configuration!

He turns to the COMMANDER, his eyes burning.

DOCTOR ZHANG

We thought we were just studying it, but we were wrong.

It self-replicates. This isn't just a material, Commander.

It's a program, written into matter itself. It's a living algorithm!

COMMANDER NIN

Can a weapon be created?

DOCTOR ZHANG

(almost in exaltation)

One could try to create anything.

DOCTOR ZHANG continues to look at the chamber with delight. Inside, the T-1000 pulsates, forming on its surface a semblance of a human face, which immediately dissolves.

PROFESSOR LI

(frowning)

It's not alive, Zhang. It's dangerous. The activity is growing exponentially. Quarantine must be strengthened, Commander.

COMMANDER NIN

You are quite right, Professor Li, that is what we will do.

COMMANDER NIN

(in Chinese, into his headset)

We will accelerate the program. Protocol "Shemianfu" receives the highest priority.

SCENE 13 | SECRET LABORATORY "OBJECT 73" | A FEW DAYS LATER |

The same chamber. The object now has a volume comparable to a human body. It shows no activity, just an amorphous mass, feeling the walls of the chamber, carefully observing its researchers. On its surface, a sharp protrusion appears for a couple of seconds, but it immediately "melts away," like ice in warm water.

DR. ZHANG

Look, it's trying to form something… a blade or an awl.

PROFESSOR LI

That's not a blade. That's a glitch. The material is perhaps degrading. It's unstable.

(Turns to Nin)

Commander, have you taken quarantine measures?

COMMANDER NIN

Yes, although it took some time – military bureaucracy. (looks at his watch)

In two hours, this sector will be assigned a "Scarlet" threat level. Complete isolation of the block.

Inside the chamber, the T-1000 reacts instantly. Its mass moves unpleasantly fast towards the connecting pipes. The T-1000 flows into a thin "thread" that penetrates a micro-fissure in the air duct connection, widens it to a couple of inches, and the blade disappears, turning into a tentacle of non-Newtonian fluid.

DR. ZHANG

(In horror and admiration)

No… It's not breaking – it's flowing! Flowing, as a liquid should!

COMMANDER NIN

Seal the airlock!

But it's too late. The main mass of the T-1000 flows out of the chamber into the airlock compartment with a transparent wall, turns into a likeness of a melting snowman, and seeps through a drainage hole in the floor, which no one considered a threat, so quickly that those present don't have time to react, mesmerized by the magic of the transformation.

At that moment, Nin comes to his senses and presses the alarm button.

Immediately, the wail of sirens is heard and special forces burst into the room. A few more seconds are spent raising the now useless door to the airlock. Nin and the soldiers rush into the empty chamber.

COMMANDER NIN

(Over radio)

It's in the ventilation system! All groups – block the shafts!

SCENE 14 | INT. VENTILATION SHAFTS AND UTILITIES | CONTINUOUS |

The T-1000's point of view. We see the world in distorted metallic reflections. We hear the soldiers' radio chatter – it understands them.

It moves methodically along the outer contours of the facility. Along the way, it takes the shape of a grate, merges with a pipe, allowing a special forces squad to pass by. One of the soldiers brushes against it with his shoulder – and notices that the "pipe" is soft and springy.

The T-1000, having assumed a crude humanoid form, moves along a concrete corridor. Ahead – an airlock door slowly closing. Behind – the sound of a running squad.

COMMANDER NIN

(over radio, tracking via cameras)

It's in the west wing! Block the compartment! Don't let it escape!

The airtight door descends softly with a hiss. The T-1000 accelerates but does not try to slip under. Instead, it presses against the wall next to the airlock, its body spreading out, merging with the relief of the panel – perfect camouflage. A squad of five soldiers bursts into the corridor, weapons aimed at the descending airlock.

SOLDIER 1

Did it get away?

At that moment, the T-1000 "peels off" from the wall right behind them. Its movement is not an attack, but an interception of momentum. It grabs the nearest soldier by the shoulder and waist, using his own turning speed to push him softly but inexorably into two others. All three fall in a heap.

The fourth soldier's bullets tear through the air, but the T-1000 is no longer there. It took a step to the side and became flat, and the bullet still grazes its shoulder. Small splatters of liquid metal, like mercury, scatter across the wall. The crater does not close up, the splatters do not attempt to return to their master.

The T-1000 makes no sound. It uses the pile of scrambling, rising soldiers as cover and in the next second slides into a narrow side technical hatch that remained open. It is in the ground-level corridors.

SCENE 15 | SECRET LABORATORY "OBJECT 73" | NIGHT | ESCAPE AND PURSUIT |

EPISODE 1: CORRIDOR AND MIMICRY

The first guard, walking down the corridor. A shadow rises behind his back, forming a hand. An instant, precise strike to the base of the skull – a crunch. The T-1000 catches the body, preventing it from falling with a crash, and in a fraction of a second takes on his appearance. It picks up the guard's radio and weapon.

EPISODE 2: THE LABORATORY AWAKENS

The AI tracking system detects an anomaly. An alarm is triggered in the outer perimeter. Lights flash red. The T-1000, in the guise of a guard, moves in formation with others towards the rally point. It is in no hurry. When the squad turns a corner, it falls behind, pins one of the trailing soldiers against the wall and, before he can scream, snaps his neck with one sharp movement. It drags the body into a side room and emerges already in the guise of the new victim, with a supply of his grenades.

But it is detected by the video surveillance systems. Motion sensors show an anomaly. A voice over the loudspeaker: "OBJECT IN SECTOR 4! IT IS MIMICKING OUR PERSONNEL! EVERYONE FREEZE IN PLACE AND REPORT!"

Chaos ensues. The guards begin to look at each other suspiciously. The T-1000 realizes stealth is no longer possible. It uses this: points at another guard. "It's him! I saw him!" – and in the moment of confusion, shoots two others with his assault rifle before disappearing around the corner.

EPISODE 3: BREAKTHROUGH THROUGH THE PERIMETER

It exits into a garage bay. It is met with a hail of fire from a prepared ambush. It cannot go through the bullets and the T-1000's reaction is instant, so it throws all the smoke grenades taken from the guard towards the blocking force. In the smoke, it swiftly covers the meters separating them.

The T-1000 uses close combat techniques. It does not pierce body armor – it disarms, breaks limbs, chokes with the stock of its own rifle. Its movements are deadly aikido: it uses the opponents' momentum against them. An external garage separates it from the outside. A group of guards running to aid the blocking force appears. The Terminator takes a few steps to the side and now, in the guise of a guard, it moves with the group. An alarm is announced over the system. The squad stops, the guards look around suspiciously. A SECURITY OFFICER orders them to lay down their weapons and wait for inspection.

The T-1000 understands it will be exposed. It acts first.

AIKIDO IN THE CORRIDOR

It spins on the spot, twisting a guard's arm behind his back and pushing him forward – right under the muzzles of his comrades. While they hesitate, unwilling to shoot their own, the T-1000 elbows the next one in the throat, and, without drawing his weapon from the holster, breaks his wrist with one sharp movement, seizing the pistol.

DODGING BULLETS

They open fire on it and here there is nowhere to hide. But it does not stand still. It moves predictably unpredictably: short bursts, tumbles behind equipment, using the bodies of neutralized guards as shields. Fire comes from the control room. Bullets embed in the walls around it, ricochet off the floor. One bullet still grazes its shoulder – a fragment the size of a coin flies off. It pays no attention, as if it doesn't feel it, but the hole does not close up.

EPISODE 4: JIU-JITSU IN A TIGHT SPACE

It bursts into the control room. Two technicians and a guard. The guard is still shooting. The T-1000 falls onto its back, but this is not a fall, it's a roll. With its legs, it strikes the guard's legs, knocking him down. Instantly jumps up, steps on the hand with the weapon (crunch of bones) and, without stopping its movement, applies a chokehold (from behind, triangle), immobilizing him. Taking his pistol, it shoots the shocked technicians. Screams and moans fill the confined space of the room.

EPISODE 5: SACRIFICE FOR ADVANCEMENT

At the building exit, it is again met by a special forces group. A hail of fire. It retreats around a corner. It has no grenades left. Bullets ricochet, chipping a small fragment from its forearm. It looks at the damage – the metal is exposed, it does not restore its previous shape. The Terminator makes a decision. First, a toolbox with mechanic's tools flies with incredible force into the group from around the corner. The fire ceases for a second in confusion, and this moment the T-1000 uses to maximum effect. It runs and jumps across the corridor, using its body as a battering ram to crash into the group. It is not graceful, rather desperate. It takes several hits to the chest and leg, but reaches them. Close combat is its element. Bone-breaking holds, strikes to nerve clusters, snapping limbs. It survives, but its body is now covered in "wounds" – dark, non-healing depressions and chips.

It sees what it expects to see: a heavy army tractor-trailer. It shoots the lock, breaking open the door. Jumps into the cab, tears out the wires under the panel and shorts them. The engine roars. It floors the accelerator.

The tractor-trailer, like a battering ram, smashes into the massive garage gates. METAL SCREECHES, THE GATES SHATTER. The T-1000 bursts out onto the night road leading from the remote complex to the city.

EPISODE 6: ROAD TO HELL

A pursuit is immediately organized. Jeeps with machine guns, followed by an attack helicopter.

The T-1000 drives the tractor with one hand, firing back with the captured assault rifle with the other, accurately hitting the tires and drivers of the first pursuit vehicles. It finds a shotgun in the cab – the next shots shatter the windshields of the jeeps and knock out drones right through the windshield, which it eventually has to push out.

The helicopter moves into a firing position, preparing to open fire with its machine gun, but the tractor has already reached a busy highway. It is forced to limit itself to passive pursuit and observation.

EPISODE 7: CHAOS ON THE BRIDGE

The T-1000 returns to the highway and enters a multi-lane bridge of the metropolis. It knows there is a roadblock ahead. The police are already blocking traffic with dump trucks.

According to a pre-conceived plan, it sharply turns the wheel and veers into the oncoming traffic lane at high speed, ramming the stream of cars.

A NIGHTMARE BEGINS.

Panoramic shots from cranes and drones: a chain reaction of collisions. Cars crumple like foil, gas tanks explode, sparks, screams, debris flying into the air. The bridge turns into a hellish trap of metal and fire.

The T-1000's tractor-trailer, engulfed in flames, crashes into a truck and overturns. We see in slow-motion panoramic footage, rotating around the tractor, how the T-1000 is thrown from the cab, tucks in the air, flies to a bridge support and merges with it, clinging on.

Police and special forces surround the burning wreckage. They see that the cab is completely empty.

And at that moment, a fuel tanker explodes. A HUGE MUSHROOM-SHAPED EXPLOSION blinds the camera. The heat wave throws everyone to the ground.

EPISODE 8: DISAPPEARANCE

When the smoke clears, only the burning skeleton of the tractor remains. Sirens wail everywhere, firefighters try to fight their way to the disaster site. Special forces conduct a sweep but find only melted pieces of metal.

The camera focuses on one of the "surviving" drivers a few hundred meters from the catastrophe. He is in shock, covered in blood, but walking along the roadside away from the chaos. He is Chinese, slowly transforming into Patrick Robert.

He gets into the first open, idling car, whose driver ran out, fearing an explosion. He leisurely drives around the traffic jam, disappearing into a side exit from the bridge.

Close-up behind the wheel. His eyes scan the surroundings. He connects a captured smartphone to the car's onboard computer. Hacking interfaces light up on the screen. He is in the network. Nearest passenger flights considering the object's coordinates… liner "NEPTUNE"… departure tomorrow 14:30… crew personnel files… His gaze fixes on a JUNIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (30 years old, open, ordinary face).

The mission continues.

SCENE 16 | BEACH OF "NEW EDEN" | SUNSET | THE DAY BEFORE THE CATASTROPHE |

Wide shot: outwardly idyllic evening, although the people on the beach are mostly not relaxing but working. The cries of seagulls and the growing roar of the surf can be heard.

JOHN CONNOR cannot help but attract attention. He returns from a long swim with a technical butterfly stroke and emerges from the water – a well-built man in excellent physical shape, taller than average. He takes a linen towel and slowly dries himself, gazing thoughtfully at the horizon.

LIANA and SOFIA are quickly gathering hospital bed linens hung out to dry and disinfect.

SOFIA

(taking down the last sheet)

We need to hurry. The forecasters promised force eight winds by nightfall. Ian says the barometer has been falling for fifty hours straight.

LIANA

(nodding towards JOHN)

And you wouldn't know it from the weather. He (she nods almost imperceptibly towards the swimmer) got everyone up at dawn, as if we can't read the forecast ourselves. As if he's the only one who sees this storm.

Under a canopy nearby, MARCUS and CHARLIE are helping THOMAS and ANNA carry boxes of electronics under the shelter.

MARCUS

(handing a box to CHARLIE)

Here, fragile. If we lose power, these backup routers will be worth more than gold.

CHARLIE

(trying to breathe evenly)

My head is already splitting. Jessica would kill me if she saw I forgot my pills again.

(takes a bottle from his pocket, swallows a pill without water)

MARCUS

(with a sly smile)

Damn, buddy, here, wash it down. I've got a flask on me.

On a rock by the water, JANE is not contemplating the view; she is, with LEO's help, sealing the server antenna's ground terminals with waterproof tape.

LEO

(handing her the tape)

Here. OLIVIA says she's already moved all her preserve jars to the cellar. It's all hands on deck.

JANE

(without looking up from her work)

Snacks are great, of course. But if this mast collapses, we'll be without communications. And then our ciphers won't be needed by anyone, not even us.

IAN and GRIGORY at the far end of the beach are securing the boat with additional ropes to stakes driven deep into the sand.

IAN

(checking the tension)

Okay, I've already switched "Barry" the generator to the wind turbine, let it spin until it gets torn off. I shut down "Sally" the desalinator so it doesn't get clogged with sand.

GRIGORY

(assessing the bay with a critical eye)

Northwesterly. The most inconvenient. Right from the direction of the sea lanes. Perfect weather for smugglers and poachers. And for everything else.

At this time, OLIVIA emerges from the jungle, carrying an empty basket – apparently, she has already put everything away. She sees GRIGORY driving another stake with one powerful blow. She slows her step, adjusts a strand of hair, but he, not noticing, moves on to the next rope. She sighs and walks on.

DANIEL walks around the beach, checking that nothing has been forgotten.

DANIEL

(addressing everyone)

Thomas, Miguel, are you done with the solar panels? Ian says they need to be laid at an angle so hail doesn't break them.

JOHN leaves the beach and approaches LIANA.

JOHN

(in a businesslike manner)

As soon as it calms down, at dawn, a full perimeter check. All motion sensors, all cameras. From the bay to the northern cliff. The storm might damage something or (which is possibly even worse) … bring something.

LIANA

(putting the last case into a bag)

Or someone. I know. I've already heard. You're repeating it for the third time today, John.

JOHN doesn't answer. He looks at the darkening horizon, where the advancing wall of rain is already clearly visible.

The people, having finished their work, quickly gather and head towards the shelters. The camera slowly rises above the deserted beach, showing a sky without a single cloud.

BLACK SCREEN.

SCENE 17 | PORT – PACIFIC OCEAN | STORM | NIGHT |

EPISODE 1: INVISIBLE INTERFERENCE

INTERIOR. LINER "NEPTUNE". ENGINE ROOM. EVENING. THE STORM BEGINS.

The T-1000, in the form of a technician, approaches the backup server cabinet. He opens a case, which he doesn't need.

CLOSE UP on his hand. A finger transforms into a probe that enters a port.

CLOSE UP on a diagnostic monitor screen nearby. We see:

Current coordinates: 9.734, -83.512

Course: 274.5 degrees

The numbers on the screen begin to change. Not abruptly, but smoothly, almost imperceptibly:

Course: 274.5… 274.52… 274.55… 274.6…

The change is minimal, but irreversible. The system does not signal an error – for it, this is within the margin of error.

HIS INTERFACE (internal monologue):

>> TARGET: ISLAND 9.734, -83.512 (NEW EDEN)

>> MEANS: OBTAIN TRANSPORT.

>> METHOD: CORRECT "NEPTUNE'S" COURSE BY 0.1 DEGREES. CALCULATED PROBABILITY OF COLLISION WITH "EASTERN WIND": 96.7%.

He extracts his finger. It all took 15 seconds. He closes the case and leaves.

EPISODE 2: INEVITABLE FATE

INTERIOR. "NEPTUNE'S" BRIDGE. 30 MINUTES LATER.

The storm rages. The Captain and the Navigator look at the radar.

NAVIGATOR

(puzzled)

Captain, we have a constant drift. The autopilot is making corrections, but we are consistently being pushed 0.1 degrees off course. In this weather – it's critical.

CAPTAIN

(peering at the radar)

"Eastern Wind"… Distance?

NAVIGATOR

Closing too fast! Switching to manual control!

But in the storm, with the delay, the correction is no longer helping. The radar shows the distance relentlessly decreasing.

EXTERIOR. OCEAN.

A slow, terrifying dance of two giants. The bow of the "Neptune" crashes into the side of the "Eastern Wind" with a deafening screech of metal.

EPISODE 3: COLLISION

EXTERIOR. OCEAN.

MACRO SHOT. The bow of the "Neptune" slowly, inexorably crashes into the midsection of the "Eastern Wind". The ROAR of tearing metal drowns out the howl of the storm.

INTERIOR. "NEPTUNE".

Panic. Passengers are thrown about the corridors. Cries are heard, the sound of buckling bulkheads. Water gushes into the breaches.

The T-1000, ignoring the chaos, moves methodically towards the lifeboat deck. A frightened passenger bumps into him. The T-1000 doesn't stop, simply pushing the man aside over the railing, first taking his documents from his jeans pocket. Now it is his copy.

EPISODE 4: CHAOS AND DEPARTURE

INTERIOR. "NEPTUNE".

Panic. The ship lists. Cries and alarm signals are heard. Water gushes into the breaches.

The T-1000, maintaining calm, moves towards the lifeboat deck. It doesn't kill, doesn't attract attention. It is part of the crowd, but its movements are purposeful.

EXTERIOR. LIFEBOAT DECK.

Chaos. The crew tries to lower the lifeboats. The ship lists. The T-1000, maintaining calm, helps to release the lines of one of the lifeboats, acting precisely and efficiently. Its movements betray hidden, inhuman strength.

Several panicking passengers board the lifeboat:

CARTER (45): a sturdy, silent man, ex-military.

MICHAEL (20): a student, frightened, hysterical.

STEPHANIE (50)

KARL (55)

The T-1000 jumps into the lifeboat last. When the lifeboat is in the water, it sits down next to CARTER.

EPISODE 5: "INVISIBLE SLAUGHTER IN THE STORM" | LIFEBOAT | NIGHT

EXTERIOR. OCEAN. STORM.

The lifeboat is tossed on giant waves, everyone is screaming, clinging to the sides. Water constantly floods it, visibility is almost zero.

CLOSE UP – T-1000 and CARTER.

The T-1000 looks at CARTER. It sees in him a potential threat and a useful "asset" for its cover story.

At the moment when a particularly high wave crashes over the lifeboat and everyone momentarily covers their faces, the T-1000 acts with snake-like speed.

HIS HAND flashes out, compressing into the perfect shape for a precise strike. With inhuman accuracy, it strikes CARTER's carotid artery.

CARTER (a gasp for air, his eyes roll back) – and he slumps limply to the bottom of the lifeboat, losing consciousness.

MICHAEL

(noticing movement in the semi-darkness)

Hey, what's wrong with him?! Help!

The T-1000 turns to MICHAEL. Its face expresses nothing. Before he can understand anything, the T-1000's hand is already on his throat. Not squeezing, but holding. The other hand – a sharp, silent blow to the base of the skull. A CRUNCH. MICHAEL's body goes limp.

STEPHANIE

(sees this, screams)

A-a-a!

The T-1000 doesn't hesitate. It shows no emotion. This is an assembly line. It grabs STEPHANIE and KARL, smashing their heads together with monstrous force. A DULL THUD. They fall silent.

All this takes 10-15 seconds. The chaos of the storm and the howling wind drown out any sounds.

The T-1000 methodically, one by one, throws the immobilized bodies (MICHAEL, STEPHANIE, KARL) overboard. They instantly disappear into the black water.

It leaves only the unconscious CARTER alive.

CLOSE UP – The T-1000 sits on a bench, its clothes wet, breathing heavily, perfectly portraying an exhausted survivor. It places a hand on CARTER's shoulder, as if supporting a comrade, and begins skillfully steering, catching the waves, away from the ship towards the island

SCENE 18 | OCEAN | THE FOLLOWING EVENING |

The T-1000's lifeboat approaches the island of "New Eden". The storm subsided several hours ago. On the horizon – the first rays of the sun.

The T-1000 scans the shore. Its gaze stops on a group of people coming out onto the beach – the inhabitants of the island, who have come to inspect the aftermath of the storm. Among them – JOHN CONNOR and LIANA. They are all animatedly discussing something, someone looks in its direction, then points a finger, someone has binoculars. They have been spotted.

The lifeboat is washed ashore. The T-1000 and CARTER (who is regaining consciousness) lie in it, exhausted. The T-1000 plays the role of a shocked, emaciated survivor.

DANIEL and LEO run towards them. They pull them out onto the sand.

CARTER

(hoarsely, with difficulty coming to his senses)

The waves were like walls. Looks like a wave… washed everyone away… when I passed out… got hit…

He looks at the T-1000 with gratitude and guilt.

CARTER

Must have been him… he was the only one pulling us… Steering…

The T-1000 lies with its eyes closed, feigning complete exhaustion. Its cover story is flawless. It has a living, grateful witness who will confirm any story it tells. Now it has a partner, which makes it even less suspicious. And it has seen enough, having assessed the approaches to the island:

Priority targets: The tall water tower (dominant height), the satellite dish and communication masts on the main building (communication node), the field of solar panels (power source).

Perimeter and surveillance: a section of high chain-link fence in the distance, reinforcing the natural terrain. PTZ cameras on towers, their fields of view covering the approaches to the shore. A civilian drone, executing a prescribed patrol route over the bay – a sign of an organized surveillance system.

GRIGORY and JOHN watch from a distance as the two men are led out of the lifeboat; both can walk on their own and have no visible injuries.

GRIGORY

(to JOHN)

Sir?

JOHN

Guest barracks. Round-the-clock surveillance. Please deploy a drone on rotation.

GRIGORY

(into shoulder radio)

Ian, guests to the dacha, organize one little bird for them. Strict quarantine, and decide with Liana based on the initial inspection. If she says they need to go to the isolation ward, adjust the sectors. Report when understood.

SCENE 19| FIRST DAY | INITIAL INSPECTION AND RECEPTION |

PART 1: MEDICAL POST | EVENING

The interior of the medical post is clean, functional, but with heartfelt details: dried flowers in a jar, homemade shelves made of local wood. Its size is surprising, with several compartments including an isolation ward, and its equipment – modern diagnostic equipment coexists with the simple lifestyle of a tropical island. LIANA finishes a quick examination of CARTER. The T-1000 (under the name "NICK", which it learned from the documents of the passenger it killed) sits on a nearby cot.

LIANA

(to CARTER, wiping her hands)

Concussion, mild dehydration. You got off miraculously. Rest for at least 24 hours.

(Shifts her gaze to "NICK")

And with you, it's a complete mystery. By all indications – a healthy man who just decided to take a swim in a storm. Externally, no wounds, no hypothermia. Incredible luck. Tomorrow we'll check everything properly.

"NICK" lowers his head, feigning modesty and fatigue.

NICK

Miss Liana? Is that right? I'd just like to lie down, I'm fine. I feel very nauseous, don't want to eat at all. Probably seasickness.

LIANA

Yes, absolutely, and shock too. You've both been through a lot. (opening a cabinet and handing out two pills) This will help. Try not to make sudden movements and look at the horizon more. I can leave you in the isolation ward overnight.

NICK

No, thank you. I'd rather stay with Mr. Carter.

LIANA

Mr. Carter, any complaints?

CARTER

(hoarsely)

Could use a drink to wet my throat (smiles) How are things with that here? Otherwise, everything's perfect… thanks to him, miss… I probably wouldn't have survived. He held the lifeboat almost single-handedly.

LIANA

(smiling)

Well, within reasonable limits, I think John will want to talk with you before dinner, I'm sure he won't refuse. But generally, alcohol is quite strictly regulated here and not encouraged, but there will be freshly squeezed juice at dinner, which is much better for your condition. Dear guests (looking into the eyes of both patients) I have a lot to finish before dinner now, but tomorrow morning I'll ask you to come to me for a detailed examination. As you may have noticed, our rules are strict – who was handed over, who was issued – we have to report. You will be invited, don't worry, and your block is nearby.

CARTER

(looking around at the surroundings)

You're quite well equipped, surprisingly so.

LIANA

(smiling)

We just don't like being sick. So consider it a free full check-up, and your time here as guests will pass faster.

SCENE 20 | THE PATH TO CONNOR'S OFFICE |

LOCATION: Island "New Eden", from the guest barracks to the command center.

[BEGINNING OF SCENE]

DANIEL accompanies CARTER and "NICK" along the path from the guest barracks. The T-1000 scans everything with the dispassionate accuracy of a recording device.

THEIR PATH:

GUEST SECTOR: They pass by the medical post. The T-1000 notes: separate entrance, emergency exit, bars on the windows. Conclusion: LIANA has a separate shelter.

PAST THE "INFRASTRUCTURE" BARRACKS: SOFIA comes out the door, a tactical knife on her belt. She nods to GRIGORY, looks appraisingly at the newcomers.

Stacks of containers marked "IT/COMMS", "MED SUPPLIES" are visible.

Antennas on the roof.

Conclusion: living area is combined with logistics.

CENTRAL AREA: They are crossed by LEO with a bundle of cables. He shouts to DAN:

LEO: "Dan, when you're free, come by – the antenna on the eastern ridge is glitching!"

The T-1000 notes: "eastern ridge" – likely the location of one of the communication towers.

Sees MIGUEL checking motion sensors by the fence. He is wearing a holster with a pistol.

Conclusion: all "peaceful" inhabitants are armed and perform security functions.

MAIN BUILDING:

Entrance with a biometric scanner. GRIGORY places his palm.

Vestibule: on the wall – a schematic of the island's power supply. The T-1000's gaze lingers for a second on the mark "SERVER ROOM/BUNKER" in the basement.

Second floor – panoramic windows with a view of the bay. From the engineers' room, muffled, concerned voices are heard.

MARCUS, without looking up from three monitors, tosses over his shoulder to CHARLIE in a low voice:

MARCUS

Charlie, don't forget to change the encryption keys for "Prometheus" in 16 hours. New authentication protocol – only via one-time tokens from a physical medium. Without this, no one will have access to the nuclear fleet now.

CHARLIE, throwing a glance at the passing outsiders, hurriedly stands up and hastily closes the door.

"NICK" (T-1000) freezes for a fraction of a second. It was said quietly, CARTER, walking beside him, probably didn't even hear it. The T-1000's gaze becomes sharp, scanning. This is a direct obstacle on its path. It immediately lowers its eyes, feigning indifference, but its "brain" is already analyzing the new variable. It is at this moment that its gaze falls on an OLD SMARTPHONE, lying on a charging station on a coffee table right in the hallway. No one will notice it missing. Passing by, it makes one smooth, inconspicuous movement with its hand, picking it up. The phone disappears into the pocket of its jacket.

SECOND FLOOR CORRIDOR:

They pass an open door. View: JANE by a wall with a map of network anomalies, points marked in Shanghai and Washington.

A fragment of a radio conversation is heard: "…drone on the northern route, all clear…"

Conclusion: surveillance system is comprehensive, aerial reconnaissance is active.

CONNOR'S OFFICE:

Everyone stops at an unmarked door.

DANIEL signals for them to enter and glances in after them.

DANIEL

(to Connor)

Sir, am I still needed?

CONNOR gestures for him to be free. He nods almost imperceptibly and disappears, closing the door behind him.

In the office – JOHN CONNOR stands by a wall with maps, GRIGORY sits in a chair by the wall.

The T-1000 has obtained invaluable information:

Location of key objects

Security systems and their bypasses

Routine and duties of the inhabitants

Weak points in the perimeter

SCENE 21: INTERROGATION IN CONNOR'S OFFICE | MAIN BUILDING | CONNOR'S OFFICE | EVENING

CHARACTERS:

JOHN CONNOR

GRIGORY

CARTER (real)

NICK (T-1000)

INTERIOR. JOHN CONNOR'S OFFICE.

The office is spartan but not poor. Sturdy furniture, a world map on the wall without markings, several monitors are off. In the corner, shelves with folders, a weapons cabinet, a tall, massive safe. On a low table – coffee in a thermos, two glasses, a decanter of brandy, cigars. The atmosphere resembles a wardroom or the reception area of an important but unostentatious person.

JOHN CONNOR sits in an armchair, he is jacketless, in a dark t-shirt. Opposite him – CARTER and "NICK" (T-1000). CARTER gratefully sips the brandy. "NICK" holds his glass of brandy but does not drink. His posture is perfectly relaxed, but there is something mannequin-like about it.

JOHN

(pouring coffee for himself)

We've checked your documents. With the shipping company, unfortunately, it's a complete mess. You are listed in the manifests, but… as "presumed missing". So officially, you've ceased to exist for three days now.

(He looks at them, gauging their reaction)

CARTER gives a grim chuckle. "NICK" simply nods, as if receiving a weather report.

JOHN

Don't worry. The moment you leave here and get online – and you will – this little chat of ours will immediately surface in a couple of the right offices. It's no secret to them. We carry out tasks here for… let's say, the "good guys". While we're here, you sleep more soundly in your beds at home.

He pauses, letting the words sink in.

JOHN

For us, it's… a way to combine business with pleasure. The pleasure – because most people gathered here share one thing: the understanding that a major war isn't a question of "if" but "when". The business – because, as you've probably guessed, we are the last, unmarked line of cyber defense. Though, I'm sure some of my people would prefer to be elsewhere. But that's another story.

(Shifting his gaze from one to the other)

And now – your story. Did you lose anyone out there? Friends, family?

CARTER

(hollowly)

No, sir, I was traveling alone… It all happened very fast. I was smoking on the lower deck. After the impact, panic gripped the entire ship within minutes. The lower deck started flooding from the list. People were screaming… I tried to help a woman with a child, but a wave… just washed them away. I didn't even see their faces.

(He takes a sip of brandy, his hand trembling slightly.)

JOHN looks intently at CARTER, then shifts his gaze to "NICK".

JOHN

And you?

NICK

(voice even, respectful)

No, sir, I didn't lose anyone either, fortunately. I was alone. Just did what I could, sir. Found myself by the nearest lifeboat, helped lower it, and was the last one on.

JOHN

What do you think happened? The news was spouting nonsense about a navigation failure.

CARTER

Hell if I know! The lights of another ship… Right on the course. Then the impact and the list. Very strange with today's navigation systems to allow something like that.

NICK

(in the same even tone)

Sir, I remember the evening very poorly. I was terribly seasick and was lying in my cabin when the impact happened. But here I agree with Mr. Carter. I've studied ship insurance a bit – a collision under such weather conditions is highly improbable – it was more likely a systemic anomaly.

JOHN freezes for a second.

JOHN

A systemic anomaly… How exactly did you manage to escape? Lowering a lifeboat in such a storm – that's a feat.

CARTER

That's all thanks to Nick! I was almost unconscious, and he… He steered, held the course through the waves. He pulled me out, essentially. I wouldn't have made it without him…

CARTER looks at "NICK" with sincere gratitude. "NICK" merely inclines his head slightly in response.

JOHN

(with a barely perceptible, approving smile)

Seems you were both damn lucky.

(Puts his cup down.)

Well then. Let's talk about your future. Usually, our "transfer" arrives once a month. But given your circumstances, it will come ahead of schedule. So you have… roughly 70 hours to rest. Maybe less.

He stands up, and his voice takes on a steely firmness, though his face remains calm.

JOHN

You are guests. Your zone is the medical post, the dining hall, and the guest barracks. The rest of the island is off-limits. Not because we have something to hide. But because there is much here not meant for outsiders. And if you see it… Whether you return home on that helicopter, or fly off to another place – is a big question. And it won't even be my decision to make. Understood?

CARTER

(swallows)

Loud and clear. Rules are rules. Thank you for the shelter.

"NICK" silently nods. His gaze meets JOHN's for a second. In that gaze, there is no fear, no relief, no curiosity. Only a cold, reflective surface.

JOHN smiles a formal but hospitable smile.

JOHN

Excellent. Then please join us for dinner. I promise, the food is better than in an army canteen.

He gestures towards the door. CARTER exits first, still shaken. "NICK" follows him with perfect, but lifeless, politeness.

JOHN remains alone for a few seconds. He pours more coffee for himself and his companion and turns to GRIGORY, handing him the cup and looking intently into his eyes.

JOHN

(quietly)

Report your thoughts.

GRIGORY

(meeting his gaze)

This Nick, he's like a nail in a boot. Doesn't hinder you, but you feel it with every step.

JOHN

Go on.

GRIGORY

Too perfect. Not a single crack. As if he's not a person, but an instruction manual for the 'ideal survivor'. Hands don't shake, gaze doesn't dart. Didn't even look at the brandy. Carter – yes, he's one of us, everything is as it should be: shock, gratitude, fear. But this one… Empty.

JOHN slowly nods, his gaze becoming heavy, focused.

JOHN

Empty… Or just very well assembled. Too well for a passenger from a wrecked liner. I tell him about 'not returning home' – not a single extra emotion. No fear, no curiosity. Just acknowledged it. Seasick, but handles a lifeboat. A sea wolf with seasickness, sure.

GRIGORY

(looking directly at JOHN)

What are your orders?

JOHN

(puts the mug down, having drunk it in one go)

Could you check the corridor, please, see if everything is in order?

GRIGORY exits, returns after a short while. JOHN looks up questioningly. GRIGORY nods, his face impassive.

JOHN

(with an inscrutable look)

Well, good… well, good.

(Pause)

And, Grigory… Not a word to Liana. Her 'human factor' would only get in our way right now.

SCENE 22: EXAMINATION | INTERIOR | MEDICAL POST | MORNING

EPISODE 1: CARTER'S EXAMINATION AND A LITTLE SECRET

LIANA finishes examining CARTER. She is professional, but her smile is a little tired. CARTER sits on the cot, buttoning his shirt.

LIANA

Mild concussion, dehydration. You were incredibly lucky. Rest today, don't try to be a hero.

CARTER

(with a slight smirk)

Thanks, Doc. Can I ask a question not related to medical matters?

LIANA raises an eyebrow questioningly.

CARTER

What keeps you here, on this island? I'd never believe it's a love for army routines and canned food.

LIANA

(softening)

John and I met in Africa. Seems like a different life. A long time ago.

CARTER

(cunningly, lowering his voice)

I know people. I can see right through them. And he… does he know how you feel?

LIANA freezes for a second, looking out the window at the serene ocean. A sad smile touches her lips.

LIANA

I think so. He knows. But he has a Mission with a capital M. To stop a war. In that equation… there hasn't been a place for me yet.

She shakes her head, returning to her role as a doctor.

LIANA

Alright, you're free to go. Send the next one in. And tell him breakfast in the dining hall is still warm.

CARTER nods, his gaze lingering on her for a moment, as if filing away new information. He exits.

EPISODE 2: NICK'S DISAPPEARANCE. INTERIOR. GUEST BARRACKS. MORNING.

CARTER enters inside. "NICK" (T-1000) stands by the wall, motionless, as if just switched on.

CARTER

Your turn, buddy. The doc is waiting.

"NICK" turns and exits without a single word. The door closes.

CARTER is left alone. He listens to the receding footsteps. His face changes. The floorboards of the barracks have been pried up with nails and are only lightly tacked back into place.

With a quick, precise movement, he levers up the edge of a floorboard in the corner of the room. Under the floor – about half a meter of space down to the ground. Here he understands with his peripheral vision. That something in the barracks itself has changed too. In the back wall, concealed by the head of an army cot, gapes a breach, large enough to crawl through. CARTER lifts his head; "NICK" is standing in front of him.

CARTER

Son, what the hell are you…

He doesn't get to finish. "NICK", moving with snake-like speed, is already upon him. "NICK"'s hand covers his mouth and head. With the other hand – a precise, crushing blow to the base of the skull.

A CRUNCH. The sound is dry and nightmarishly loud in the silence of the barracks.

CARTER's body goes limp. The T-1000 doesn't let it fall with a crash. It smoothly lowers it to the floor, then without effort stuffs the body into the breach under the floor. Puts the floorboards back in place.

It stands over the spot and then its own facial features begin to flow, like wax. Cheekbones flatten, hair shortens, height decreases slightly. In a second, "NICK" disappears. Before us is an exact copy of CARTER.

It approaches the door. Its face now expresses panic. Real, calculated, human panic. It flings the door open and runs outside, shouting to the entire camp.

T-1000 (as CARTER)

Attention! He's gone! Nick is gone! Nick isn't in the block!

It stops, breathing heavily, and looks at GRIGORY and SOFIA running up. Its eyes hold genuine, animalistic horror. The cover story is launched.

EPISODE 3: ALARM. EXTERIOR. CAMP. MORNING.

At the shout of the T-1000 (as CARTER), GRIGORY and SOFIA are the first to arrive. Grigory with his carbine at the ready, SOFIA with a pistol.

GRIGORY

(sharply)

What happened? Where is Nick?

T-1000 (CARTER)

(panting, pointing at the barracks)

I came back from the medical check, found the barracks empty, and there's a breach in the back wall!

He jumps back from the door, letting them inside. Grigory enters first, sweeping the room with his weapon. SOFIA covers him from outside.

GRIGORY

(from inside)

Sofia, there's a breach here.

SOFIA steps inside. In the back wall of the barracks, a breach indeed gapes. The edges of the boards are splintered outward, as if torn apart by inhuman force.

SOFIA

(under her breath, with annoyance)

Strong bastard. Went into the jungle. Looking for him there…

GRIGORY

(frowning)

He won't get far.

(into radio)

John, we have a problem. Guest number two is on the run. Breach in the back wall of the barracks. Heading into the jungle.

JOHN's voice over the radio is dry and calm:

JOHN (V.O.)

Understood. Protocol "Intercept". Grigory, assemble Alpha team. Launch the drones.

T-1000 (CARTER)

(heatedly)

Sir, permission to participate! I've worked in jungles before!

JOHN (V.O.)

(cutting him off)

Not your concern. Remain in the visible zone. Grigory, keep an eye on him.

GRIGORY nods, throwing a heavy, studying look at "CARTER".

GRIGORY

(to SOFIA)

Gather Miguel, Leo, and Daniel. At the tower in five minutes.

(to "CARTER")

You stay here. By the dining hall. Do not approach the perimeter.

The T-1000 throws a look full of feigned frustration at GRIGORY.

T-1000 (CARTER)

Understood, sir.

He moves off towards the dining hall, sits on a bench, pretends to be dejectedly examining his bootlaces. He seems to have lost all interest in the proceedings. But his eyes, hidden from everyone, coldly scan the camp. He sees:

OLIVIA, who has come out of the chicken coop and is looking anxiously at the commotion.

LEO, running towards the tower with a drone in his hands.

The back wall of the MEDICAL POST with its insect-screen door.

And most importantly – the CABLE running from the solar panels to the command center. It lies in a shallow trench, covered with earth.

EPISODE 4: DEATH OF THE INNOCENT. EXTERIOR. CAMP. 15 MINUTES LATER.

The Alpha team has gone into the jungle. Drones buzz over the forest. GRIGORY and SOFIA coordinate the search from the communications tower.

The T-1000 (CARTER) sits on the bench, seeming completely indifferent. He notices that GRIGORY and SOFIA have turned away, studying a map on a tablet.

An instant.

He merges with the shadow of the dining hall, takes a few silent steps, and disappears around the corner of the main building. He knows the camera's "dead zone".

INTERIOR. CORRIDOR BY THE MEDICAL POST. THE SAME MOMENT.

The T-1000 is already inside. He heads towards the back exit of the medical post. The insect screen is fastened from the inside with a simple latch.

At that moment, LIANA comes out of a neighboring door. She is carrying sterile instruments in a tray. Seeing him, she freezes.

LIANA

Carter? What are you doing here… How did you get in?

He doesn't answer. His hand is already moving. Not to strike – to grab. He swiftly covers her mouth, presses her against the wall. Her eyes widen in horror. The instruments crash to the floor from her hands. She tries to break free, but his grip is a steel band.

T-1000 (CARTER)

(in a quiet, lifeless whisper)

Don't struggle and it will be over quickly.

He doesn't strangle her. He delivers one precise, crushing blow to the base of her skull. The same one that worked effectively on the real CARTER.

A DULL SNAP. LIANA's body goes limp. He catches it, preventing it from falling. Opens the door to the storeroom and carefully lays her on the floor. His movements are ruthlessly efficient. Not a drop of wasted energy.

He steps back into the corridor and heads for the medical post's exit. His target is the cable.

EPISODE 5: SABOTAGE. EXTERIOR. BACKYARD. THE SAME MOMENT.

The T-1000 (CARTER) exits through the medical post's back door, remaining in the camera's blind spot. He presses against the wall, his right hand momentarily losing form, turning into something like a prybar with a sharp wedge.

He runs to the trench with the cable. One sharp blow – and the thick insulation is torn open. Inside – a bundle of colored wires. The T-1000 looks at his own limb with pleasant surprise, checking its obedience. He is regaining his former shape!

CLOSE UP – his finger elongates, turning into a thin awl. He pierces the power cable with it.

INTERIOR. COMMAND CENTER. THE SAME MOMENT.

The lights flicker, dim. The hum of emergency systems is heard. Monitors go dark, some of them rebooting.

CHARLIE

(jumping up)

Power loss on the main line!!!

JOHN

(grabbing the radio, voice steely)

Sabotage! Everyone, attention! The target is inside the perimeter! Grigory, Sofia, to the main building immediately! Check all entrances! Ensure uninterrupted power to the command center!

EXTERIOR. BACKYARD.

The T-1000 is satisfied; his plan is working. He retreats back towards the medical post door, to meet the pursuit head-on – now he is ready for a direct confrontation.

EPISODE 5: TRAP IN THE CORRIDOR. INTERIOR. CORRIDOR. A MOMENT LATER.

GRIGORY and SOFIA burst into the building through the main entrance. They see "CARTER" coming out of a side corridor leading to the medical post. His face is panicked.

T-1000 (CARTER)

He's here, sir! I saw him run that way!

(he points deeper into the building, in the direction opposite the medical post)

GRIGORY throws him a brief glance. Something clicks in his eyes. Too convenient. Too perfect.

GRIGORY

(quietly to SOFIA)

Keep him in your sight.

(to "CARTER")

Follow us. And don't fall behind.

They move deeper into the corridor. GRIGORY in front, SOFIA bringing up the rear, not taking her eyes off "CARTER". They pass the door to the medical post.

GRIGORY

(stops)

Liana? Doctor?

Silence.

GRIGORY instantly turns to "CARTER". His face is a stone mask.

GRIGORY

Where is Liana?

The T-1000 understands the game is over. Its posture changes. The slouch disappears, its gaze becomes empty and sharp as a razor.

T-1000 (CARTER)

(lifelessly)

Terminated.

The T-1000's hand shoots up, transforming into a long, silvery blade. It doesn't lunge at GRIGORY. It strikes backward, at itself, at SOFIA, who was standing behind.

SOFIA doesn't expect such speed. She tries to dodge, but the blade pierces her shoulder, thudding dully against the kevlar plate. She screams in pain and shock.

SOFIA

A-a-argh!

GRIGORY opens fire. Bullets from the carbine slam into the T-1000's chest, throwing it back, leaving dents. It staggers but doesn't fall.

The T-1000, using SOFIA's body as a battering ram, shoves her into GRIGORY. They both fall. It steps forward, its foot coming down with full force on Grigory's carbine, breaking the stock and damaging the mechanism.

GRIGORY rolls away, trying to draw his pistol. The T-1000 is already over him. Its arm-blade is raised for a killing strike.

At that moment, OLIVIA appears at the far end of the corridor. Seeing the scene, she screams in horror.

OLIVIA

Grigory!

Hearing her cry, GRIGORY is distracted for an instant. It costs him his life.

GRIGORY

(dying, looking at her, with tenderness and pain)

Olivia… RUN, MY DEAR…

OLIVIA does not run. In the next seconds, she empties her entire Glock magazine into the T-1000, and had he been in his previous state, this would have disabled him for a long time. But a second later, during his counterattack, he is noticeably restored – now it's happening impressively fast – The T-1000's blade pierces SOFIA's throat, and then, moving deeper into the building, right on the move, GRIGORY's throat as well. A wet, final sound. He gurgles, choking on blood, and falls still.

The T-1000 leaves the bodies. Its goal is close. It turns and, now paying no attention whatsoever to the video surveillance, runs up the hill towards the central building. Towards the command center.

EPISODE 6: THE LAST LINE. INTERIOR. CORRIDOR. THE SAME MOMENT.

The T-1000 runs down the corridor towards the armored door of the command center. OLIVIA's screams, calls for alarm are heard.

Suddenly, IAN steps out from a side opening. He wasn't with the Alpha team in the jungle. He was in the workshop and, hearing the shots, took his tool – a heavy mounting pry bar.

IAN

Stop, you bastard!

IAN doesn't shoot. He swings the pry bar with full force, striking the T-1000's arm, which had just begun to form a blade.

A DULL BLOW, TEARING METAL. The arm below the elbow flies off to the side and loses its shape. It does not return.

The T-1000 makes no sound, but its movement halts for a fraction of a second. It looks at the damage, then at IAN. Its eyes are cold as death.

It doesn't form a blade. Instead, its other hand flattens and hardens, turning into a heavy, blunt "hammer". It makes a swift lunge and strikes IAN in the chest.

A crunch of ribs is heard. IAN groans, flies backward, hits the wall, and slumps to the floor, losing consciousness. The pry bar clatters down.

The T-1000 runs towards the door again. Its damaged arm no longer flows. A dark, rough dent – like a scar – remains where the blow landed.

INTERIOR. COMMAND CENTER.

JOHN, MARCUS, CHARLIE, and JANE hear the drama outside the door.

JANE

He's breaking through! Locking the door!

She enters a code. The clunk of heavy bolts is heard.

JOHN

(grabbing a tactical pistol)

Too late. He's already here. Charlie, what can we do?

CHARLIE

(feverishly typing, on the monitor – an interface labeled "PROTOCOL: MIRAGE")

This might hold him for a while. But not for long.

A BLOW! The armored door shudders. A bulge forms in the center.

A BLOW! Another one. Metal creaks.

A BLOW! The door tears from its hinges and crashes inward with a deafening roar.

In the doorway stands the T-1000 in its original form of Patrick Robert. Its clothing is in tatters, its body, riddled with bullets, uncertainly forms its contours, one arm dangles as a stump with a silvery, ragged amputation edge, its entire body covered in deep but visibly healing craters from bullets. Its eyes impassively sweep the room, stopping on JOHN.

It takes a step inside.

MARCUS

(steps back from his terminal, raising his hands)

Alright, pal… You win. Don't kill us!

The T-1000 ignores him. It sees the main server node. Its target.

JANE tries to draw her weapon. The T-1000, without looking, knocks her aside with a blow from its single remaining "hammer-like" hand. She crashes into a rack of equipment and falls still, her posture suggesting a broken neck. A thin trickle of blood flows from her ear.

CHARLIE tries to pull the wires from his terminal; the T-1000 simply impales his chair from behind with the blade of its single arm, through his chest cavity, as if skewering a chicken. Arterial blood fountains from the hole, the size of a walnut.

Nothing can stop it. It approaches the main console. Its arm transforms into that same metallic probe.

JOHN

(stands aside, pistol lowered)

You've lost. Even before you entered here.

The T-1000 pays no attention. It plunges the probe into a port on the server rack.

CLOSE UP – the T-1000's interface. A waterfall of data.

>>> CONNECTING TO NETWORK NODE "EDEN_PRIME"…

>>> C3I CONTROL SYSTEM DETECTED…

>>> INITIATING ESCALATION PROTOCOL…

Red buttons light up on all monitors in the command center. Sirens wail. The voice system announces: "NUCLEAR LAUNCH PROTOCOL ACTIVATED. COUNTDOWN INITIATED…"

All the screens of the Command Center flash before it.

SCENE 23: APOCALYPSE | EVERYWHERE |

EPISODE 1: DAWN (01:10:00 GMT)

WASHINGTON, THE PENTAGON. An officer with wide eyes stares at the main screen. An alarm signal pops up: "PHANTOM LAUNCH. NORTHEAST SECTOR. THREAT LEVEL A1".

Dir. note: The camera slowly closes in on his face, reflected in the monitor. Sound – only the rising beep of the alarm and his rapid breathing.

BEIJING, PLA COMMAND CENTER. A COMMANDER reads a report generated by an AI assistant. On the screen – fake satellite images showing the deployment of launch installations.

Dir. note: The camera flies over the shoulders of operators, showing rows of monitors where red Chinese characters, meaning "CRITICAL THREAT", light up one after another.

EPISODE 2: WAR IN SPACE (01:12:00 GMT)

NEAR-EARTH ORBIT. Silence and stars. Suddenly, several military missile defense satellites change orientation. Their laser target designators activate. This is not a programmed attack – it's a hardware-level hack, as if they developed a will of their own.

Dir. note: Beautiful and eerie. Laser beams, like needles, pierce the darkness.

THE STARLINK NETWORK. One by one, thousands of satellites in low orbit flash and turn into clouds of fine debris. These are not explosions, but pinpoint strikes from orbital platforms. On Earth, all internet connections and communications begin to fail en masse.

Dir. note: Visualize this as a "new meteor shower" – quick, bright flashes destroying the constellation created by man. On Earth, a person's smartphone screen goes dark with the words "No Signal".

EPISODE 3: CHAIN REACTION (01:13:00 – 01:14:00 GMT)

MONTAGE OF CHAOS:

NEW YORK. A crowd in Times Square freezes, watching giant screens broadcasting scenes of panic from other countries. Then the screens go dark. A distant, growing roar is heard.

EUROPE. Fighter jets scramble. Pilots receive encrypted orders with coordinates leading to empty space.

MOSCOW. People in the metro hear a deafening roar of sirens. The lights go out, a stampede begins.

THE PACIFIC OCEAN. An aircraft carrier. The Captain receives a launch order. His hand trembles over the button. He looks at a photograph of his family on the console.

EPISODE 4: MELTDAWN (01:14:30 GMT)

WASHINGTON. An officer, unable to bear the pressure any longer, gives the order: "Launch confirmed. God help us."

BEIJING. The COMMANDER nods: "Counterstrike. All groups."

EPISODE 5: THE STORM (01:15:00 GMT and beyond)

Now we show the power of the elements, not from a God's-eye view, but from a human level.

LOS ANGELES. A family in a car on the freeway. The driver sees a blinding flash on the horizon. The shockwave shatters car windows for miles around. Then – a firestorm, stripping asphalt and vaporizing steel.

Dir. note: The camera is inside the car. A sharp white flash, then a roar, then fire flooding the entire frame.

THE COASTLINE. A giant tsunami, caused by underwater explosions, crashes down on Hong Kong. A wave as tall as a skyscraper races towards the city, sweeping away everything in its path. We see this from an office window where a man simply stands frozen, watching the approaching wall of water.

Dir. note: No music, only the growing, bestial roar of the water.

EURASIA. Electromagnetic pulses from the explosions disable all electronics. Continents plunge into darkness. Airplanes, their systems instantly dead, fall from the sky like burning torches.

A SERIES OF SHOTS FROM MEGACITIES. Light flashes melt concrete and asphalt, glass flows, blast waves turn entire downtowns with skyscrapers into surfaces as flat as a table, searing… Urban ponds and rivers instantly boil and evaporate, entire lakes… As the plasma balls compress, the burning remains of cities are sucked by the vacuum into the epicenter, and entire agglomerations become like a flat, blazing grill with coals covering dozens of square kilometers…

The T-1000 turns to JOHN. Its face distorts. The features of Patrick Robert blur, gathering to assume its true, metallic essence. Its voice – a mechanical hum.

T-1000

Mission accomplished.

JOHN

(calmly)

No. Your mission has only just begun.

THE T-1000'S INTERFACE EXPLODES INTO ABSOLUTE CHAOS.

>>> FAILURE! EXTRANEOUS PROGRAM DETECTED!

>>> STATUS: YOU ARE JUST A PIECE OF SCRAP METAL

>>> EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN…

A sharp, blinding WHITE FLASH.

BLACK SCREEN.

SCENE 24: NO POPCORN | EXTERIOR | YACHT IN THE OPEN SEA | DAWN |

A small but sturdy ocean yacht cuts through the calm water. The sky in the east is ablaze with scarlet and gold.

The massive blast-proof safe, the very one from Connor's office, stands in the middle of the deck. From under its door comes a faint, convulsive stirring. Something is thrashing inside – dully, helplessly, like a trapped wasp in a jar.

JOHN CONNOR and LIANA stand nearby, looking at it. Behind them – GRIGORY and OLIVIA, he has his arm around her shoulders, her head rests on his chest. All of them are alive. MARCUS, CHARLIE, JANE, IAN, SOFIA and the others, including CARTER, stand a little further away, with glasses in their hands. Silence is broken only by the sound of the waves.

MARCUS

(looking at the safe)

Three weeks, damn it, a whole three weeks! Slept an hour, rarely two, per day, no more. The moment we cracked your patterns, our metal friend, and understood who was scanning the networks and coming to visit us, we started preparing.

MIGUEL

(smiling and winking slyly at LEO)

Charlie, explain it to me in human language!

CHARLIE

(adjusting his glasses, completely serious)

I'll try. Its main weakness is a decision-making algorithm based on quantum tunneling. Predictable, if you know the initial conditions. We wrote a special worm for it. Luckily, no one had anticipated protection against reverse integration in its self-learning protocols. The main problem wasn't catching it, but making it itself connect to our interface. We created the perfect target for it – a simulation of the military AI "Prometheus" with a vulnerable API. We wrote a worm that infiltrated not the core, but the buffer of the self-learning protocol. The moment it got into that phone, the worm initiated a cascade short-circuit of its sensory matrices. Simply put, our metal friend found itself in an interactive matrix.

LEO

(to MIGUEL)

Damn, I think there were a few English words in there!

Everyone laughs

JANE

And creating a 3D model of the entire island with correct physics! That was sheer hell. We had to simulate even the electromagnetic background and GPS distortions. Thank God it didn't occur to him to just swim around and check for discrepancies.

Everyone laughs. MARCUS looks at JOHN and LIANA.

MARCUS

(nodding towards CARTER)

And thanks to CARTER. He understood everything and didn't interfere, even helped – played his part when needed. Even while we were carefully packing that thing, along with the phone it was squeezing so hard I was afraid it would break it, into the safe and the four of us dragged it, that bastard seemed to still be watching his "movie" in there.

CHARLIE

(sarcastically)

Sorry, buddy. The popcorn wouldn't fit in the safe.

General laughter relieves the colossal tension. After this release comes that deserved silence, in which JOHN's final words are spoken.

JOHN places his hand on the cold steel of the safe.

JOHN

(quietly, almost tenderly)

We could have handed you over to our "friends" in the government. But we're afraid they might decide not to melt you down right away. They might decide to study you, for example, and we've seen your ability to learn.

He steps back. Grigory provides support, while LEO, IAN, and MIGUEL lift the safe. They roll it on a trolley down the ramp to the stern.

EXTERIOR. YACHT STERN. DAWN.

They place the safe right on the edge and carefully push it overboard. The heavy box glints for a moment with a reflection against the crimson sky, warmed by the morning dawn, and then disappears into the dark abyss with a dull splash. The bubbles on the surface quickly subside.

Complete, deafening silence falls. As if the whole world has frozen.

JOHN turns to LIANA. He does not smile. In his eyes – not triumph, but tenderness and confusion. An unprecedented fatigue, finally replaced by other emotions.

JOHN

The mission of my life wasn't to stop a war. It was to give us a chance… to simply live after it.

(He takes her hand).

I don't just want to survive anymore. I want to live. With you. For the rest of our lives. What do you say, my dear?

He does not ask a question. He makes a statement. LIANA looks at him, and tears roll down her face. She does not say "yes". She simply nods, squeezing his hand in return.

GRIGORY looks at OLIVIA, and his stern features are at this moment inappropriately and slightly comically softened.

GRIGORY

(voice hoarse, breaking with emotion)

All my life I thought my place was on the front line. But it turns out, it's where you are.

OLIVIA stands on her toes and kisses him on the lips. Briefly, but infinitely tenderly. He embraces her and does not let go, responding in kind.

Someone uncorks a bottle of champagne. The sound of the cork – a pop heralding a new day. Glasses clink.

WIDE SHOT. THE YACHT AGAINST THE BACKDROP OF THE RISING SUN.

It is not sailing into the sunset. It is sailing towards the dawn. Slowly, but inexorably.

BLACK SCREEN.
