Roger Lundgren, «Royal Roger», is one of the world's leading royal experts and has worked closely with European royal houses for 20 years. He has been affiliated with Swedish Television (SVT) as an expert commentator for all major royal events since 2010 and has written four royal biographies.

On the surface, his life appears to be a dream come true. From growing up as a bullied boy in a small northern town, to achieving international success in his greatest passion – Europe's royal houses. But life hasn't all been champagne and palaces. Interwoven with glamorous assignments and close relationships with world royalty, his life has contained streaks of darkness and deep trauma.

Roger's autobiography Outsider is a moving yet hopeful book about rape, suicide, mental illness, and the journey toward a life of dignity.
