This is the authors second novel,his first 'Mike and Jan, John and Janet' was published in 2007. This story is set in 1971 when escaping to the countryside to enjoy the good life, a rare happening. A humorous, sensual yet thoughtful tale of how Mike and Jan and their children cope with living deep in rural Wales. Whilst Mike struggles to produce an income from the smallholding and repair the ancient farmhouse, Jan has a particularly problematic involvement with a female neighbour. Not all the locals are friendly and unexplained 'accidents' occur' – but nothing is quite what it seems....
