Hegesipp

The five books of Hegesippus, a Christian writer from the second century, are lost. Only a few fragments have survived, most of them in Eusebius of Caesarea's Church History. . These stand out due to a specific interest in the relatives of Jesus. Frank Schleritt provides an introduction as well as translations and explanations of the quotations from Hegesipp's work and texts about Hegesipp by Eusebius and other authors.
