Beatrix Potter is famous worldwide for her stories that appeared in the form of little books for children. There were 23 in all and this one is number 15. Beatrix Potter wrote this story the year she got married and began keeping pigs on a farm. Her sketches of the pigs form the basis of the illustrations for this story.
